Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated, skilled and systematic B2B Sales Manager to accelerate the demand and sales of our certified new-generation flame retardants for wood products. You will be responsible for our key account sales and development in the UK & Ireland markets. Our sales managers work with industrial customers and work requires regular travelling.
Key responsibilities
The responsibilities of Nordtreat’s Sales Manager include:
- Development of new leads in the wood products segments
- Identifying key targets in the market and creating relationships
- Develop sales according to the sales organization‘s regional targets and KPIs
- Pitch products and present the company's solutions to customers and leads
- Communicate with prospects and potential customers
- Develop specifications for the different customer groups
- Represent the company and its values
- Collect market data and intelligence
Requirements
- Intermediate to senior manager with experience in B2B industrial product sales
- A bachelor’s in business-related or engineering studies or extensive experience in a similar market is also valuable
- Minimum 5 years of sales management experience (B2B)
- A knowledgeable sales manager and a good network with industry applicator manufacturers for wood, coatings, and flame retardants
- Product experience in wood, coatings and or flame retardants
- Good track record with establishing sales processes and building a market segment from the ground up
- Interest in utilizing modern sales and productivity tools (HubSpot)
- Good communication skills in English – other languages are an advantage
- Able to travel nationally (about 50% of the time) to meet customers
