Exterior applications
The maintenance period of NORFLAM® W319 treated thermally modified spruce is 7–10 years in exterior use with normal conditions.
In outdoor applications, wood cladding that was industrially, off-site or on-site treated according to the manufacturer's instructions will require re-treatment after 7 to 10 years. The re-treatment must be done using the same flame retardant originally used to treat the wood product.
